Hed Kandi in Hong Kong has successfully progressed into its third year of hosting the best mainstream house music events in town. For the brands first event in 2009, Hed Kandi lands at M1NT, a club that has strived to bring fresh, new music to Hong Kong, bringing in many famous international DJ's from across the world on a regular basis. To kick-start the year and rid all sorrows of the economic downturn, Kandi's most respected DJ personality, David Dunne returns to the city with The Lovely Laura on Sax. Known as "A DJ with no ego and plenty to talk about", David Dunne will bring his skills from both the clubbing world and the radio arena, for which he has worldwide acclaim. David Dunne is by far and large, an unparalleled voice for house music, heard around the world for the greater part of his career. All vocal aspects aside, his dexterity behind the decks have put him on stage alongside the Spice Girls, Motown Records, Simply Red, to name but a few. And, if you think he's pop, think again! He just completed his 10th consecutive year in Ibiza, and did the closing party for the Winter Music Conference in Miami. He will be accompanied by The Lovely Laura, the female sax phenomenon. Her last performance in Hong Kong was beyond memorable for both the crowd and herself, and we can only expect more excitement this time after her recent stints in the studio.
