History: Established in 1985, Bookazine is Hong Kong’s best and friendliest general-purpose bookstore. Today, there are seven Bookazine shops, conveniently located in Hong Kong’s most prestigious shopping areas. The Company prides itself in offering the best selection of English language books and magazines in Hong Kong. For example, our largest store, stocks over 900 magazine titles and over 20,000 book titles. In addition each store also offers a range of stationery, cards, calendars, DVDs, VCDs and gift items.

BooKIDzine: Because reading should be fun, we have created a special area to keep kids entertained.  Our Kids corner features bumper beanbags, educational toys and games and a wide screen television showing cartoons.

From time to time our shops will feature Children’s book readings, puppet shows, face paintings, competitions and other events for children of all ages.

Community: Born in Hong Kong, we see ourselves as a part of the local community and make a postive effort to promote local authors. We regularly host book launches, book signings, readings, special promotions and other events.

Reading Matters: In 2007, we began publishing the Bookazine bi-monthly magazine: Reading Matters - covering new releases, upcoming authors, genre classics, literary events and interviews with iconic writers.  In every issue, a signature mix of literature and culture, lifestyle and fashion, business and politics, design and art, history and other non-fiction attract readers who come to Reading Matters to be informed, to be surprised and to be entertained.

Author Events: Bookazine has hosted a number of author events and signings with both local and internally acclaimed authors, to give our readers a chance to meet the writer behind the pen:
Lord Chris Patten - Lord Jeffrey Archer – Anne Enright, Man Booker Winner 2007 – David Davidar – Peter James  - Robin Sharma – Alain Robert, The Spiderman – Larry Feign – Nury Vittachi and many more.
